[17:01:03] <jaheikki3> Time to start qt release team meeting
[17:01:10] <jaheikki3> On agenda today:
[17:01:13] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.3 status
[17:01:17] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.2 status
[17:01:24] <jaheikki3> Any additional item to the agenda?
[17:02:32] <jaheikki3> Let's start from Qt 6.3 status
[17:02:47] <jaheikki3> Beta3 preparation ongoing
[17:03:00] <jaheikki3> Dependency update round ongoing for Beta3 content
[17:03:12] <jaheikki3> Target is to release Qt 6.3 beta3 later this week
[17:03:44] <jaheikki3> Target is to branch from '6.3' to '6.3.0' Mon 14th March
[17:03:57] <jaheikki3> And target is to release Qt 6.3.0 RC Thu 17th March
[17:04:23] <jaheikki3> And target is to release Qt 6.3.0 at the end of March
[17:04:52] <jaheikki3> That's all about Qt 6.3 status at tis time. Any comments or questions?
[17:05:44] <rloehning> You keep an eye on bugreports already fixed in dev, but not yet picked and integrated to 6.3?
[17:06:30] <rloehning> e.g. https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-101302 Just the normal delay, but let's not forget it.
[17:06:59] <jaheikki3> rloehning: sometimes but not all of those aren't in my radar
[17:07:43] <jaheikki3> opening a jira item seems to take ages at the moment....
[17:08:11] <carewolf> the whole system is down at the moment I think
[17:08:11] <rloehning> Yes, Jira and Gerrit seem to have problems, currently.
[17:09:07] <rloehning> See development@: "offline until tomorrow"
[17:10:11] <jaheikki3> rloehning: If you notice/know some issues which should be fixed in 6.3.0 please add those in Qt 6.3.0 blocker list (https://bugreports.qt.io/issues/?filter=23983)
[17:10:43] <jaheikki3> I try to keep it up to date but of course I might miss some important ones
[17:11:39] <The-Compiler> "The requested filter doesn't exist or is private" - is that intended? Or is it just JIRA being weird right now?
[17:11:40] <rloehning> ok
[17:12:32] <jaheikki3> The-Compiler: No, it should be visible for everyone. I can't check / fix it now because I can't access jira ATM. But I'll check it tomorrow
[17:12:44] <rloehning> Only visible to logged-in users.
[17:13:28] <jaheikki3> Ok, I'll fix that immediately when I can access to Jira
[17:13:44] <jaheikki3> Ok, then Qt 6.2 status
[17:14:40] <jaheikki3> Because of all these issues with CI & systems we need to prioritize the capacity to be able to get Qt 6.3 beta3 out as soon as possible
[17:14:57] <jaheikki3> That's why Qt 6.2.4 is postponed a bit.
[17:15:54] <jaheikki3> There is also winter holiday period in finland now & next week and so on new Qt 6.2.4 release target is Tue 15th March 2022
[17:16:13] <jaheikki3> Target is still to freeze the release content as soon as possible but Qt 6.3 Beta3 has bigger priority
[17:17:08] <jaheikki3> Hoping we can get Qt 6.2.4 content frozen during this week and then package creation and package testing during next week and release out tue 15th March
[17:17:26] <jaheikki3> but that's all about Qt 6.2.4 status at this time. Any comments or questions?
[17:19:57] <jaheikki3> Ok, it was all at this time. I'll be on holiday next week so let's skip next weeks meeting & have new one tue 15th March at this same time
[17:20:18] <carewolf> ok. bye
[17:20:24] <jaheikki3> Thanks for your participation, bye!
[17:20:39] <rloehning> Thanks, bye and happy holidays.
