/usr/include/sys/sysmacros.h:# define major(dev) gnu_dev_major (dev)

$ grep include.*sys/sysmacros.h /usr/include/**/*.h
/usr/include/sys/types.h:# include <sys/sysmacros.h>

So those are bad, they get included with sys/types.h.
