[Development] QRegularExpression work

Hello,

I started to push some (PCRE-free) code to review on gerrit.
Please DO NOT try to stage anything because it will simply break the
build, given that PCRE is not imported yet (waiting for approval).
I'd like to get any kind of comment so that the code can get in good
shape before the feature window closes...
