Please note that:
1) the announcement didn't change much. You were already supposed to be
following it for the most part, since we're 6 weeks into feature freeze,
preparing for an alpha ("review of API").
2) if you have something that is important to do now, you must have a reason
so posting that reason to the ML and getting the maintainer's blessing should
be no problem.
Cleanup for the sake of cleanup was never allowed. There were plenty of "###
Qt5" tasks that weren't done.
