Hi Donald,

Thanks for the kind words.
Yes, I do intend to upstream everything in due time, but since these 
patches are potentially build-breaking I prefer to let them simmer for a 
while on the mailinglist.

Questions I would really like the answers to:

* Does lowercasing the include-libraries interfere with (cross) 
compiling on the Mac?
* Why is the #include of <cctype> (presumably) not needed with the 
official Qt mingw version?

My hesitation is reinforced by the apparent lack of attention some parts 
of the MS Windows code receive 1), so errors I introduce with these 
patches might go unnoticed for too long.

1) For example: The Windows XP widget style does not compile at the 
moment (a simple typo in qwindowsxpstyle.cpp).
