[Development] Qt 4.8.4 bug: mac menu bar not properly shown

Actually,

I just found out that this problem is happening when Qt is compiled with 
Carbon framework.
The problem is not there if I compile Qt libraries 4.8.4 with Cocoa 
framework. Unfortunately I'm obliged to use Carbon framework due to this 
bug QTBUG-27879.

Any hints on how to overcome one of those bugs? They are quite blockers 
for the applications we are developing.
