[Development] which branch for a bugfix

For that particular bug, there is already a fix in the works at 
https://codereview.qt-project.org/#change,41537 . Accidentally, I got it 
prototypically to work  today with MSVC. As it is a bit involved, it is 
in the 'dev' branch.
