[Development] Changes to Qt offering

Can someone on the release team confirm there was a public discussion about the 
Qt Project not doing LTS releases anymore?

Otherwise it seems the Open Governance was a bit side tracked and The Qt 
Company unilaterally decided to stop doing some releases.
