I don't believe the fix for "Broken copy-paste after 49.../50 days" (
https://qt-project.atlassian.net/browse/QTBUG-65145,
https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt/qtbase/+/254187) was backported to
5.9. There are some KDE bugs linked in the Qt bug that might be of interest
as well.
