Even if one spends the effort to improve it, the attempt gets ignored
unless it's some critical issue. If the attempt was a bug report, it
gets a priority and everyone forgets about it. If it was a patch in
gerrit, no one will review it in months and years even though you added
the module maaintainer from the change creation.
