Maybe you're able to use the attached .bat file I use to configure
Qt for MingW and/or MSVC? I haven't updated it for Qt 5 (only 4.8.2).
Beware; it requires 4NT command-processor (a much better shel than
cmd). But adapting it to CMD would be easy.

It sure does speeds things up.
