Hi,

first of all, Qt Creator specific questions have a higher chance to be answered on the qt-creator mailing list ... Qt Creator allows you both to log in via password and ssh. Does specifying a password in Qt Creator work? If so, does logging via public/private key work on the command line ssh?

Regards

Kai

Subject: [Interest] QtCreator creating generic Linux device

Running Qt Creator on Fedora 9. I want to setup a Generic Linux Device
to allow me to deploy to (and eventually test from) another Linux box.

I'm not very experienced with Linux so I'm probably missing something.

I can connect to the target box using SSH.

I try using the tool to build the generic device in QtCreator. I set
the username as a user on the target. I create a public key and create
a private key. I click the test button and I get a timeout waiting for
a response. I try to deploy the key, I get timeout waiting for reply.
