[Interest] keyboard auto-repeat rate?

Is there a way to query the keyboard auto-repeat rate, or the auto-repeat delay time? A bit of Googling turned up workarounds for people who don't want keyboard auto-repeat rate, but nothing about querying or setting the rate.
