[Interest] [OT] Is it possible to detect hard drive type (fixed/removable) on Windows using Qt?

If you want to be cross-platform, you might be interested in KDE's Solid library (they are in the process of modularizing it). 

It's Qt based and does not need the whole KDE framework .
