[Interest] Hiding a shared lib? Linux of course.

Hiya, I have here a very stupid problem.
I just compiled the new Qt5 version and installed it in /usr/local.
Now I compile a program which uses QMediaPlayer. When I run it, it segfaults at once.
Strangely one of the libs I use, I did not yet find out which one, links directly or indirectly against libkdecore.so.5. When I remove libkdecore.so.5 the programs runs
perfectly fine.

Anyone an idea? How did this happen? I compiled hundreds of Qt versions, it never
mixed with the rest of my system.
