[Interest] Reconfigure project : run cmake

Hi list,
     I am totally agree with Bo. Cmake works, right, but it could be 
really improved...

For the initial problem I usually open a shell, point to my build 
directory and use "make edit_cache" in order to set build type and other 
things like include paths for the projects. This is faster than 
commit/checkout and save disk space...
