[Interest] :-1: error: cannot find -lrwlineeditplugin

FWIW - just in case it helps someone in future, this turned out to be a 
permissions thing. For some reason, and I can't work out why, it was 
compiling the plug in with root permission only. Once I gave everyone 
access it worked.
