Standard disclaimer: this is not legal advice. Only your attorney can give you 
that and you should consult with them.

Strictly speaking, you don't have to. You may publish the sources somewhere 
(in a server you control, to be on the safe side) and that satisfies the 
requirements of the LGPLv3. If you don't publish the sources, then you're 
giving all your users a five-year option of asking them of you, so you must 
keep your sources somewhere.

Note I did not say anything about modifications. I was talking about the Qt 
sources that you used, whether you modified them or not.

In addition to all of that, if you want to be nice to your fellow users, you 
should submit your change to the Qt Code Review system so that may be 
integrated into the next version. That implies accepting the Qt CLA.

Note, again, "in addition to". Submitting your changes to the Qt Project does 
not free you from the requirement to provide them to your users, if they ask 
of you.
