Find another copy of the Sqlite library and thus write your own qmake files.

You can copy sqlite.pri from Qt and modify it as necessary for your purposes. 
But you can't depend on the one that comes with Qt, since we make absolutely 
no attempt to make it work with third-party includes (as you've just 
discovered).
