[Interest] Which "Widget" technology to use when starting a new desktop app

For me hybridizing works very well - some widget stuff, some flashy big 
things as embedded QML Widget.
In some applications I do not have QML embedded in resources but in the 
file system so that power users can customize screens using QML and it 
works well.
