[Interest] Font issues in Qt 5.3

Hi all.
I have an old Qt 5.3 project to maintain and, at the current time, it is
not possible to change Qt version.
I've built it locally
via qt-opensource-windows-x86-mingw482_opengl-5.3.2.exe, downloaded from Qt
archives. The deployed package includes the infamous `opengl32.dll` for
software rendering, as discussed in this page
<https://wiki.qt.io/QtQuick2-and-OpenGL-vs-DirectX-vs-Mesa>. Also, all the
text elements use the native rendering.
Since previous releases of the tool didn't spot artifacts, I've expected
everything to be fine here. I've also tested remote desktop execution and
that works fine too, meaning that software rendering is correctly in place.
Still...something is not quite right with the text. It is a bit messy and
bad looking. On my dev machine everything looks good but I noticed
artifacts in the remote desktop execution and one of our testers also
reported the issue. Attached to the mail you can find a couple of
screenshots, from me and the tester.
So the question is: what am I doing wrong here? Shouldn't the
software rendering guarantee, at least, decent outcomes?
Thanks for the help,
F.
