[Interest] Qt widget parent and child visibility

Hi,

Is there any means to hide parent and then show child widget in Qt 5.13?

When i hide parent and then setvisible(true) or show() on child widget, it
hides even the child widget.

Please let me know if this is the intended behaviour.
