You're not going to convert me. I like my us(alt-intl)+latin layout. I have 
dead keys for ', ", `, ~, and ^, plus most of the other dead keys with AltGr, 
plus Compose, and an extensive third and fourth level mapping.

That means I can type Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian, (dead_acute, 
dead_circumflex, dead_grave, dead_tilde, dead_diaeresis), Finnish Norwegian, 
Danish, Swedish (dead_diaeresis, dead_abovering, which also gives me the 
degree sign °, plus æ and ø in AltGr), German (ß is AltGr), and some Slavic 
languages too, if I can remember where the dead keys are (e.g., dead_ogonek 
and dead_abovedot for Polish, plus ł in AltGr, dead_abovering, dead_caron for 
Czech), Hungarian (dead_doubleacute), Turkish (dead_abovedot). I can't find 
dead_belowcomma in my layout, so I can't type Ș and Ț for Romanian using dead 
keys, but the Compose map shows <Multi_key> <semicolon> <S>. There's even 
dead_macron if I wanted to mark long vowels in Latin or Old English, though I 
prefer to use the acute accent for long vowels in Old English, like ǽ (and of 
course I have þ and ð in AltGr for Old English and Icelandic, though the wynn 
letter is nowhere to be found).
