Hello All,

I am facing an issue in localizing the strings in Chinese,Japanese,Hindi,Korean languages. Please find attached the title of a QDialog which is trying to be localized in Korean language.

The strings are not translated programmatically, that is, the linguist tool is used to manually translate each of the strings in the .ts file and then the lrelease utility is used to generate the .qm file which is then loaded using the QTranslator load function in the code.

I am aware that the languages like Chinese,Korean,Japanese,Hindi follow a different character-set or encoding format that is UTF-8 contradictory to the Latin1 encoding format for the French,German,Italian etc languages. Is there any conversion required programatically in this regard. The same prodedure mentioned to produce/create translation files works perfectly fine for

Regards,

Archana
