no, that's obviously not using init-repository (which is in qt/qt5, and
is of interest mostly if you want to clone the entire qt tree).

git clone ssh://dglent@codereview.qt-project.org:29418/qt/qttranslations

note that without init-repository you'll need to set up the commit-msg
hook as described on the gerrit-intro wiki.
