[PySide] "flatten" hierarchical model in proxy model

Hi guys,

I asked this question on StackOverflow and was told that I can do what I 
need to, but no actual solution was suggested.
Can somebody help please? I think I'm on the right track but might just 
be missing one bit (which is how to properly re-organise a source 
model's hierarchy in a proxy model).
