[Qbs] ERROR: Project file 'foo.qbs' has invalid type.

Hi qbs-folks,

I got the following error with debian:experimental Docker image and qbs
1.11.1 and 1.12.1:

ERROR: Project file 'foo.qbs' has invalid type.

The file is here and everything works fine outside of debian:experimental.
The code in qbs/src/lib/corelib/language/loader.cpp:191 looks Ok, so
probably the error is somewhere in QFileInfo and Docker image. Any ideas
for easy fix/workaround?
Qt version:
libqt5core5a is already the newest version (5.11.2+dfsg-2).

Side note: I have to use debian:experimental because it the only repository
with qbs 1.12+
