Hello.
I just wanted to point out some things:
- there is no info on the download site, that for Debian you should use
the "gcc 3.x" version, even if you use the 4.x gcc.
- You can change the color of the edit window, but not of the other
windows. Or I don't see how to do it.
- You have to change the color/font for each of the editors. Why not
change it for all of them at once ?
- I would *really* like a real feedback from the gui, if (or when) my
build was successfully. To have to look at a little bar and watch, if
there happens to show some errors is...crazy. How about a text near the
bar: "build ok" or whatever. Just...clear and good visible.
And nothing I have to click away or change focus to/from it.
- When the build creates entries in the task list, I would like a hotkey
to jump to the next (or first, if nothing is selected) entry.
"alt-1 [,up/down], return" is working, but really..I do it all the day.
ONE key would be nice.
- Once, when I got no help, a rightclick into the "The page could not be
found" page would just crash the application.
- Is there a way to get Bookmarks back after an ide restart ?
Is that, what the session manager is about ?
- What are sessions good for ? What are they ? I don't find anything
about them in the help.
- Someoneelse already mentioned it, I too need to customize the *whole*
build process. My Makefile is calling qmake and feeding it with the
name of the build-Makefile.
So that hard coded first call to qmake is really bad.
- Will there be any class view ?
- Why is this mailing list not available via nntp.trolltech.com like the
rest of the mailing lists ?
- I like the idea to be able to program without the mouse. But
how do I switch via keyboard the from the editor to the "Projects/File
System/Bookmark/Open Documents" windows ?
- I like the editor.
- it is fast
- it is the same editor for win/linux
- it looks better than KDevelop or MS Visual Studio
cu,
Andreas
