20 minutes should have been enough in any case. For largish projects
it may take a _few_ minutes, though.

No, only if you want to do some "extra setup"

Is that on Windows, with Vista and/or some "on line" virus checker running?

Is that also present on a new project?

In any case, it would be nice if you could send me the contents of the
right pane of the "Gdb View" (in Debug -> Views -> Gdb  nowadays...) in
private mail.
