Thanks for this patch and for signing the copyright assignment form! 
I've applied the patch and pushed it into the repository.

One problem we're facing now though is that the "General" text editor 
settings page is getting increasingly crowded (another option was added 
in parallel to this change), so we should probably think about how we 
can split it up a bit.

I'm sorry about missing this part, I would have preferred to pull but 
forgot and applied your patch instead (I did make sure the correct 
author is in place).
