[Qt-creator] Problems getting git support to work in Windows

Hi

I'm having problems with getting qt creator working with git in
windows. I've installed git (the native non-cgywin one) and made my
project into a git repository, and I can run git commands from the
normal windows cmd.exe and all works fine. But, Whenever I try to do
anything with git in qt creator I just get a error message "Unable to
obtain the status: Error: Git timed out" immediately.

I've tried playing around with the Path variable in the Git options,
and I've included the directory where my git.exe is but this hasn't
made a difference. I'm running the latest Qt Creator snapshot as of
today, but I had the same problem with 0.9.1.

I havn't been able to find much documentation at all on how to get Git
working in Qt Creator, so it may just be I havn't set something up
right. :)

- Also, will the Qt Creator Editor have tabs in the future? The drop
down list of open files is cool, but it still takes more clicks to
switch than tabs take.

Thanks
Jordan
