That's a good idea!

I'm not happy with the build and run buttons - circular buttons are
always space-inefficient plus they do not match the style of the UI. I
also don't think they look good but that's just personal taste.
Would it be possible to optionally switch the whole bar to stretch
across the top of the window? Then it would fit - vertical space is
always at a greater premium than horizontal space, especially with
code :)
