Hi, Adam,

Thanks for your help. No, I didn't compile Qt SDK from source. I used the bin package (qt-creator-linux-x86_64-opensource-1.0.0.bin) to install. After installation, I got this error when I was trying to start Qt Creator:

scci51151> qtcreator
qtcreator: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I checked /usr/lib64 and only found libstdc++.so up tp 5:

scci51151> ls /usr/lib64/libstdc++.
libstdc++.a          libstdc++.so.5.0.6*  libstdc++.so@
libstdc++.la         libstdc++.so.5@

This prompted me to think may be Qt Creator doesn't support SLES9 which is the platform I am using:

scci51151> SPident
Summary             (using 877 packages)
Product/ServicePack     conflict        match  update      (shipped)
SLES-9-x86_64          2  0.1%    401 45.7%     188   (1597 25.1%)
SLES-9-x86_64-SP1      1  0.2%     63  7.2%     107    (524 12.0%)
SLES-9-x86_64-SP2      2  0.3%    119 13.6%     128    (700 17.0%)
SLES-9-x86_64-SP3      2  0.2%    244 27.8%     147    (833 29.3%)
Unknown                           232 26.5%

I hope this information can help you identify the reason why I cannot start Qt Creator.

Thanks,
Xiaojun
