[Qt-creator] Save before build.

I loaded three projects. They are all build. And the modified file is in
one of the project. I selected it by clicking in the project tree.

By the way, in the same dialog I can check/uncheck 'Always build Project
before Running'. I unchecked it. But still the build steps are
activated.

Is there a more general problem with that 'Options' page?

are your files mentioned in the "project" (visible in the project  
tree)? Or are they "other" related files to the project? I see that  
the latter ones are not taken into account when saving files before a  
build, which should most probably be changed IMO.
