Hi Abdel
you don't need to replace your installed version of qt, if you want to
try qt 4.6.

in particular, for the current version of qt-creator from the git
repository, you need also the git repository version of qt (and the blog
post should help about this). The post also tells how to use the version
of qt you prefer (that's the way I compile qt-creator from git repository).
