[Qt-creator] Strange behaviour in Qt Creator

Using Qt Creator 1.2.1 under SuSe 11.2 I have recently transferred 2
projects into Qt Creator and both were working very well. One of them still
works as it should, the other one has developed an aberation. After editing
one of it's source files it refused to rebuild the project giving 2 error
messages "Expected '}' at end of input" and "Expected unqualified-id at end
of input" both relating to the 'main.cpp' file which I had not amended. I
abandoned the recent editing but still had the same negative result. The
'main' file had worked well earlier and is similar to that in the more
successful project. Needless to say , the curly bracket was not missing and
is usually the only requirement at the end of a function. I have tried many
times to restore order without success. What, please must I do to put the
matter to rights?

All the best Ian (A vrey frustrated amateur)
