[Qt-creator] Find usages doesn't follow extern

I've found that the "Find Usages" search doesn't link an extern and its
usages to the actual definition. If I "Find Usages" of the extern
declaration, it shows the declaration and all usages that depend on the
declaration. If I "Find Usages" on the definition, it shows the definition
and any local usages of the definition, but the two lists are never merged,
as I'd expect.
