Hi.

I guess you are talking about the generic highlighter message. You 
should not get that for a QML file to begin with. We rely on generic 
highlighting only for the cases we don't have a special editor (with 
completion, indentation, semantic highlighting, etc.) and QML (like C++) 
is not one of them.

Could you please check whether the QmlJSEditor plugin is enabled in your 
Qt Creator (Help -> About Plugins...)?
