Hah, thanks for the pointer.

For some reason most of QML was disabled in the About Plugins.  (I had never 
visited that screen before).

Enabling those made things to work.  I was unable to follow the QML tutorial, 
because Qt Quick UI did not show up in available templates for a new project, 
but now it does.
