[Qt-creator] Is there a bug or logic shortcoming in qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.7.4 configure

I kept getting exits before the installation was completed on Ubuntu and Debian, 32bit environments

I tracked it down to "configure" line 5536 of 8712# 
There is a case test for        x11)    and then an exit 1.
The Variable PLATFORM_x11 is setup for yes seems to be the problem.
