[Qt-creator] image viewer example in qt creator 2.6 does not work...

Hi,

I am new to Qt and trying to run the image viewer example Qt Creator 2.6 ->
Welcome -> Examples -> Image Viewer -> copy project to writable loctation
... etc.

After build and start a windows opens but no menus are visible:

Can anyone reproduce this? (by the way I am on ubuntu 12.04)
