[Qt-creator] Qt Creator 2.8.1 debugging stopped working with Kubuntu 13.10 amd64

Thanks for the quick reply.   I think I'll opt for 3.0 beta.

That said, in case someone else runs into this but wants to stay on 
2.8.1, I found the following link that explains the steps required:
