[Qt-creator] Plea for help: Qt Quick Designer increasing unreliablility,

Hello,

I've been actively following QtC Quick Designer, since more than a year ago
it, along with the puppet is really becoming less and less reliable as
several regressions and horrible bugs make it close to useless in real life
scenarios.

*"Closed" bugs not really solved but ignored:*

   - QTCREATORBUG-12460 A simple ListView crashes the puppet (regression)
   - QTCREATORBUG-11601 Shaky items in designer (regressions)

Bugs really making it impossible to work with stuff beyond casual games or
hello-worlds at QtC (some of them closed but not solved)

   - QTCREATORBUG-12408 Regression: QtC showed blank bloxes for custom
components, now it shows nothing. It used to work fine.
   - QTCREATORBUG-12436 Unstable puppet show no useful information to help
   debug its crashes
   - QTCREATORBUG-12442 Really weird problem with custom elements, QtC
remembers them even when their imports are removed
   - QTCREATORBUG-12456 Puppet shows strange errors when switching from ARM
   to x86
   - QTCREATORBUG-12325 Strange error appearing randomly about plugins and
   components
   - QTCREATORBUG-12458 Puppet is really unstable, but cannot restart it
   - QTCREATORBUG-12457 Puppet crashes and builds at the same time!
   - QTCREATORBUG-12435 More about unstable puppet

Usability problems, fixing them will make great advances in pleasuring
users.

   - QTCREATORBUG-12455 Unpredictable behavior when organizing the tree
   - QTBUG-39731 Spinboxes unaware of wheel (regression)

For some of the bugs i was provided instructions to use a stream recorder
to help debugging, but that recorder also somehow crashes and removes it's
own log!

In real life one can expect to work with custom components, it's almost
impossible to do something complex restricting to Rectangles and other Qt
Quick-provided items. I do work on a daily basis with QML and provide with
instruction to a university classroom. This bugs really make people walk
away from Qt Quick because the technology, although is presented in a cool
way, fails to deliver a pleasant or productive experience. I want to help
with whatever is in my hands, currently, bug tracking is what i can do.

I want to raise some help on this list of bugs, several of them regressions
from previous versions. And some of them making work really hard
like QTCREATORBUG-12460,
QTCREATORBUG-11601, QTCREATORBUG-12442 and QTCREATORBUG-12408.

Additionaly i made this bug which might help a bit QTIFW-516, to allow for
switching releases, which might help with all those regressions.

I welcome comments really, very much,

Ariel
