[Qt-embedded-interest] Qt running on platform without shared library support.

I'm trying to get Qt running on a linux platform that doesn't (yet) support
shared libraries. We want to make use of the Linux input subsystem plugin
(linuxis).

Couple questions:

1. Is this a Dynamically loadable plug-in only? We can't seem to get
Qt/configure to compile it as a static
2. If I wanted to force it to be statically linked into my library, what
would be the best way to proceed. Doesn't look like much code there.
