[Qt-embedded-interest] newbie embedded question

Hello-

Ive worked on the desktop QT in the past, however
I have a guy who wants me to port some windows code
from XP/Vista into QT so it will work on a Win7 based HP netbook.

Im unsure based on what I read if its just a matter
of a #define to switch the desktop code (which I need
to develop) to work on an embedded device mostly.
Of course I need to use a few classes that are
specific to embedded I would imagine, but most of the
QT code is portable from desktop to embedded just
by changing a couple #defines at compile time?

If this isnt correct please let me know your thoughts
or a link to a better guide as to how I go about this.
