[Qt-interest] QGraphicsItemGroup drawing issue when item is selected

Hello, 

I was hoping you could help me out understanding how the QGraphicsItemGroup
is painted. 

I have graphics item which inherits from QGraphicsItemGroup with custom
paint method. There is only one problem, when the item is selected I see all
individual elements in the group outlined by small dashed lines. As my
graphics item is drawing a different visual representation when it is
selected I would very much like to disable the drawing of the dashed black
lines. 

Any clue on how to do that would be appreciated,
