Hi Malte

We received your patches and applied them. I remember personally reviewing 
some.

This is how we're dealing with mingw/gcc4 for the moment: contributed patches 
get applied. If you and Yves come up with patches that fix the warnings, we 
will certainly consider them and apply to our tree. :-)
