[Qt-interest] Missing wide stream from MinGW included with Qt Creator SDK 1.1?

It seems that the MinGW standard library included with Qt Creator SDK
1.1 does not include wide stream suppport (i.e. std::wistream).

Does anyone have any experience using std::wistream with Qt on Windows?

Is there any way to build a version of MinGW to include with Qt that
includes wide stream support?
