Not sure what you mean with that, but at least here if I send a mail to
the list (either by reply-to-list to an existing post or by creating a
new post) that mail is sent out again to me and I receive it and sort it
into the same box as any other mail for this list.

In fact thats why I've configured my client to not store a copy of any
mail I sent to any of the known lists, where usually a copy of any mail
I send out is stored in my sent-mail folder. Because I'm receiving that
copy anyway.
