No.
I said only that, on X11 with the XInput2 hack for the support of multiple
points in touch, there was a bug related to the lifting of fingers. That's the
only platform where I know anything about touch.
I don't know anything about Windows 7, which is why I remained silent after
your reply.
However, we know by indirect evidence that the touch and gesture API does give
information about losing contact on touch points. Since you're not getting
them, this is either a problem with the platform (driver, functionality, etc.)
or a bug in Qt.
